Work experience
Ghislain has recently joined NAC Partners and brings over 20 years of experience in cross-borders advisory and management for government entities, family offices, private equity and sovereign wealth funds.

Appointed by national decree of the French Prime Minister in 1996 as a chargé de mission at SGDN (French National Security Council), he worked on emerging transnational risks, strategic international contracts and received the highest clearance levels.
​
In 2000, he moved to Abu Dhabi where he joined the office of the Chief of Staff of the Federal government of the UAE, as a Special Advisor. He then co-founded a dedicated model in systemic analysis of the regional financial system and its inherent risks. He was the author of numerous reports and responsible for tasks on sensitive issues concerning the region, during the tumultuous period of 2000-2005 in the Middle-East.

In 2005 he moved to Dubai, where he joined a boutique investment bank (ABI Capital) as a Managing Partner, advising private and institutional executions in M&A investors, asset management, and financial regulators on compliance programs. He co-managed the creation of a new stock exchange (NASDAQ Dubai), of a financial regulator, as well as being sole advisor for various cross-borders transactions and PPP infrastructure deals.

He advised on over 180 cross borders transactions in origination and due diligence in 45 countries on Mergers, Joint Ventures, Greenfield and Brownfield projects (transportation, aircraft trading (including finance leases), hospitality, services, luxury goods, FMCG). Upon the course of these deals, he has been named Managing Director and board member of various funds and ventures.

Parallel to his work at NAC Partners, Ghislain is a discretionary assets manager for investors from the Middle East & Latin America, via a Family Office structure which is regulated in Luxembourg. One of the landmark assets he manages is the second largest Bordeaux fine wines fund.
He is co-author of a book on international affairs, and a professor at ESLSCA Paris business school’s MBA.
