Work experience
Alexander has been active for over 20 years in Private Equity investing both in Europe and the US. He founded NAC Partners in 2014 after realizing that many LPs were looking for PE expertise while still keeping control of the investment decision and investment pace.
Prior to founding NAC Partners, Alexander was a partner at PwC Luxembourg from 2011 to 2014 where he was in charge of starting from scratch the PwC’s Accelerator program, a pan-European project within the PwC network to help SMEs with turnovers between EUR3m to EUR100m go global using internally developed methodologies.
Prior to PwC (from 2000 to 2011), Alexander was the Managing Partner of Pyramid Technology Ventures, a EUR 120m VC/Cap Dev private equity fund with offices in Paris and San Francisco.
Alexander started his investment career at Iris Capital, at the time the venture capital arm of the Caisse des Dépôts Group (CDC), where he developed his investment skills. Alexander was first exposed to private equity in 1993 when he was hired by GET Capital as the turnaround CEO for one of its portfolio companies.
Alexander's first role as CEO was for Birkmayer USA, the US-based wholly owned subsidiary of Laborbirkmayer.
